Girl Scout Alumnae North Coast Fire Recovery Fund

Over 5,130 homes were burned to the ground in Sonoma County and 1,150 more in Lake, Mendocino, and Napa counties. We believe there are approximately 75 girl and adult Girl Scouts in the North Coast area that are now displaced from the North Bay Fires. As adult Girl Scouts we want to help in our members' recovery and let them know how much we care. Please find here resources for Girl Scouts impacted by the fires and opportunities to support those impacted by the fires.

How we are helping impacted Girl Scouts

The Girl Scout Alumnae North Coast Fire Recovery Fund will be used to replace GSUSA badges, awards, pins, sashes, vests, official uniforms, scarves, and handbooks lost in the fire as well as provide other support to impacted Girl Scouts. Additionally, all impacted Alumnae members will have their Alumnae membership dues waived this year.

How impacted Girl Scouts can request support

Our program is not based on financial need. The Alumnae are honored to support all impacted North Coast girl and adult Girl Scouts. We want to be sure that everyone that was impacted is aware of the Girl Scout Alumnae North Coast Fire Recovery Fund. If you are, know of, or are the troop leader of an impacted Girl Scout, please download the appropriate form, complete, and email to GSANCFireFund@gmail.com.
Note:We recommend that those who qualify (registered girls and adults) apply first through the GSNorCal program Opportunity Fund below. Then request to have all other remaining items fulfilled through the GS Alumnae North Coast Fire Recovery Fund. Those who do not qualify (previously a Girl Scout but not registered right now) apply only through the GS Alumnae Fire Recovery Fund.
